Perforated Base Insul Hangers are used to fasten insulation material to walls and ceilings. Perforated Base Insul Hangers have a 2" square steel base which is perforated with nail sized holes. The holes/perforations allow a screw or nail to be easily installed to mechanically fasten the Perf Pin to a wall/ceiling. These perforations are specifically designed for use with Pin Adhesive. The Pin Adhesive is applied to the back of the pin base and when the pin is pressed against a wall/ceiling the adhesive will come through the penetrations creating a solid bond. Once the pin is fastened or adhered, the insulation can be pierced onto the pin which is attached to the perforated base. A Self Locking Washer is then placed onto the pin to securely hold the insulation in place. The excess pin length can then be trimmed with Channellock end cutters.

Sold in packs of 100, each box comes with 100 pieces of 2-1/2" Perforated Base Insulation Pins with 100 Self Locking Washers. For jobs that require minimal rigid foam insulation fasteners, this 100 pack comes with everything an insulator needs for installing board or wrap.
